A few practical answers.

For the work you do on site, and what comes after.

Who is Capturemo for?

Austrian Ziviltechniker, architects, engineers and other professionals who document observations during site visits. It’s a field notebook for keeping photos and their context together.

Can I use it without an internet connection?

Yes. Taking photos, adding voice or written notes and organizing observations by project work locally on your device. The local workflow needs no internet connection or account.

Do I need an account? How does sync work?

An account is optional for local work. If you choose to use cloud sync, it needs an account and an internet connection. Sync happens while the app is open.

How do voice notes work?

Record a voice memo and attach it to a photo or imported observation. You can keep voice and written notes with the same observation, so the explanation stays with the image.

What about transcripts and AI summaries?

Transcription and optional AI summaries need an account, internet and cloud sync. One summary combines the notes and transcripts from the captures in your report. Review it before export; it appears in the same Word file as those captures. The current pilot supports up to 20 captures per AI summary.

Can I import existing photos and videos?

Yes. You can import photos and videos and add context to them. Capturemo takes new photos; recording new video is not supported.

What can I export?

Select all captures in a project to create one editable .docx with their photos, notes and available transcripts, plus an optional combined AI summary in that same file. Videos are referenced, not embedded. You can also export original files, voice memos, notes and metadata as a ZIP. ZIP export stays free while your data exists.
